After recieving lots of negative feedback about how hot it is in September, and finding out that too many people can't come anyway, we have decided to cancel the plans for Woodsie'06.2

What I was thinking would be appropriate for a 50th would to take a jar of peanut butter and a case of Old Crow whiskey and set up a hermit camp for a week on the beach pretty far south of Corpus Christi. Down around Big Shell where we have a little history, way past all the sunbathers. Where we've seen coyotes run wild. Get that wild eyed, crusty spiky hair and pirate beard thing going. Stack up driftwood to burn at night and put up a pole and make a flag out of some unknown surfer chick's panties. Then have buddies come down and drive up and down the beach hunting for the party. And we all fish in the wild surf during night and into the morning until the sun gets too hot.
But that's just me, I'm sure anything else will do just fine.
