We're having very sudden and unexpected hosting problems. This is a temporary page while we find another host for the blog.

But I don't love blogger ... how much longer? Huh? Huh?

I miss the pictures, and especially the headers, and of course, I don't like change.
We're still several days away. Honestly....I'm kinda enjoying the downtime. I think Chris has completed a huge download of the entire blog and we're waiting to upload it to the new GoDaddy server. I was swamped today so, for my part, it was a lost 24 hours in the blog CPR effort.
But I disagree, I LOVE blogger. And for this reason... anybody can do it. Evan could set one up without batting an eye.
WordPress is much more powerful but much more complicated to setup. Of course we couldn't ever turn back the clock to blogger because it just doesn't have the advanced features. People want that stuff, notice how even fewer readers participate here than they do on WordPress. Same thing on the Woodzie blogs, a LOT of reading happens but less than average participation. People like emailing in and all those advanced features.
Still, it's a fact that anybody can setup a Blogger blog completely for free in 5 minutes using the built in free hosting. It's still the summer of free love on Blogger!! In my opinion, it's the most empowering application on the Internet.
I like how that bottle opener is like a stealth gadget. It looks normal, but has . . . hidden powers!
They used to call things like that "sleepers". It was a 1950's hot rod term.
